Pump Fed Pond Filtration System in Moira, County Down

We installed a Pond Filtration system in Moira County Down. It is filtered using a pump fed Evolution aqua Nexus system.

The Pond water enters the Nexus  in the inner central chamber and works as a basic vortex allowing larger solids to settle at the bottom.  Water passes through the different Media which traps the particles during the Mechanical Pond Filtration stage.  Water then passes into the outer chamber where the main biological stage takes place.  An air pump constantly feeds the K1 media moving the media bed for optimum results.

Crystal Clear and Clean water then leaves the filter and enters the pond. The main stainless steel vessel within the Nexus filters contains the K1 Micro Media, located within the inner chamber of the Nexus.  When water enters the Nexus and rotates around the inner chamber, large particles are forced to settle at the bottom whilst the water passes through into the static K1 Micro media.
